Thank you everyone who came out to Laramie for the show! At this point we are planning on doing it again next year, and hopefully there won't be any more natural disasters to contend with! The results are now posted in another tab.
Laramie's first ever Model Horse Show!
Come on out to Laramie, Wyoming to the historic Territorial Prison for a weekend of adventure, history, and horses - both real and model! There is plenty of exploring to do at the Prison as well as in and around Laramie itself, and the model horse show coincides with the Windy Wyoming Equestrian event which consists of dressage competitions, jumping, and more. As a bonus, the $50 entry fee pays not only for a spot in the show hall, but also for access to the Windy Wyoming Equestrian event and the rest of this State Park's grounds for the entire weekend! We are privileged to be able to hold the show in the historic Horse Barn Theatre- located in the spacious loft of the Horse Barn itself- and be sure to check out the rest of the exhibits in that building, including one on the history of draft horses at the prison. While you're at it, why not take a tour of the prison itself? They say it's haunted.... There's also plenty to do in Laramie, and if you're feeling like a pretty drive, go check out the Snowy Range mountains, located 30 miles to the west. Or rock climb at Vedauwoo- 16 miles to the east of Laramie- if you're feeling adventurous!
